We all remember the days, when a house party would supply us with weeks of stories, crushes and an ample amount of goss.

We are also possessing one of Brissy's best local Dj line ups, featuring our residents KEEN? and DONNIE & BRASCO as well as some fresh faces to the Black Candy seen, YOUTH, 2MARTO BROTHERS and PATTO VS BEN 10, all of which are ready to set the decks alight

Misere at BLACK CANDY BLACK PARTY

Last thursday at the Black Candy Black Party, Misere who are one of brisbane's biggest up coming indie synth bands rocked empire with synth echoe transitions and banging basslines of their own originals mixed in with their own take on the classics such as the presets. If you can't wait to get more of them, watch this space as they are currently going back into the studio to record a whole bunch of tracks and will emerge, pale skinned and malnurished but with an ep of originals that you can expect will go down a treat.

Groovin with Andrew Lynch

If you're still feeling a bit rough after the races or for one reason or not your serotonin is low and you find your self questioning a lot of things listen to these mix's and remix by one of Brisbane's smoothest DJ's Andrew Lynch. It will surely get you ready for the weekend. Andrew has a passion for house, lounge, minimal, tech, nu disco and anything that will make you boogie( the only word that best describes vibing, dancing and grooving!).  He is always sampling authentic and different sounds to stay ahead of the game with his producing. He breaks all stereotypes of the rock star dj so if you see him behind the decks of press club or family be sure to say hi to him!

This mix is awsome, bit of a mini tribute to MJ, goes through different genre's but keeps a really funky groove beat going the whole time. Just to give you an example go straight to 38:00 mintues of the first mix!

Black Candy Partying @ Ekka Races

After a day of frolicking in the sun, with beer stains on your suit and making an idiot of yourself with 30 000 kids at the ekka races, there is only one official after party that Black Candy will be kicking on at and that's at FAMILY! If there is one name that conjures up thoughts of the loosest party shenanigans it's BANG GANG DEEJAYS! who will be rocking it at Family along with residents and a very special guest to be announced. They have even provided buses to eliminate the possibility of getting lost on your way from the races to the valley ( anything is possible after the races!).

To celebrate I thought I'd post the annie mac minimix with 82 songs in 5 minutes that Bang Gang did a few months back, still kills it everytime I play it. This will get you in the mood to party!
